The hands on display below belong to students, alums, faculty, staff, and other members of this beloved institution. MCA closes in May 2020 after 84 years of operation. Memphis may not realize it yet, but this is an incredible loss for the city and its community. The art work created using these hand images memorializes the essence of those who inhabited the school's halls in a spirit similar to Cueva de los Manos in Argentina.
