Stasis
This work imagines a shared mental spaces between two intimately connected individuals. Literal words requiring resolution exist in less-potent, static form, filtering through a system that slows verbal responsiveness. Sculptures at the center of the installation composition maintain connectivity despite the distractions of the surrounding elements. The objects and spaces of this series can be thought of as conduits for meditation and communicative exchange.
